GISELLE -Coming to BAXTER Sunday, May 19 at 7pm
CAPTURED LIVE from the Royal Opera House, London, England
Giselle is one of the most influential of all Romantic
ballets, and one of the greatest and most popular works of the
dance canon and of The Royal Ballet’s repertory. The title
role presents the transcendental power of a woman’s love in
the face of betrayal and is one of the most technically
demanding and emotionally challenging roles in classical dance
– not surprisingly, it is here a great showcase for the
leading ballerinas of the Company. Peter Wright’s sensitive
staging in the atmospheric designs by John Macfarlane
heightens the contrast as the story moves between the human
and supernatural worlds.
Running Time: 2 hrs 30 mins including one intermission |

FAST & FURIOUS 6 (PG13) -Coming to BAXTER Friday,
May 24
Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson lead the
returning all-star cast as the global blockbuster franchise
built on speed races to its next continent in Fast &
Furious 6. Since Dom (Diesel) and Brian's (Walker) Rio
heist toppled a kingpin's empire and left their crew with $100
million, our heroes have scattered across the globe. But their
inability to return home and living forever on the lam have
left their lives incomplete. Meanwhile, Hobbs (Johnson) has
been tracking an organization of lethally skilled mercenary
drivers across 12 countries, whose mastermind (Luke Evans) is
aided by Letty (Michelle Rodriguez), a ruthless
second-in-command revealed to be the love Dom thought was
dead. The only way to stop the criminal outfit is to outmatch
them at street level, so Hobbs asks Dom to assemble his elite
team in London. Payment? Full pardons for all of them so they
can return home and make their families whole again. Taking
the action, stunts and narrative to even greater heights,
Fast & Furious 6 sees director Justin Lin (Fast &
Furious, Fast Five) back behind the camera.

THE GATEKEEPERS
(PG13) -Coming to BAXTER

Charged with overseeing Israel's war on terror—both
Palestinian and Jewish—the head of the Shin Bet, Israel's
secret service, is present at the crossroad of every decision
made. For the first time ever, six former heads of the agency
agree to share their insights and reflect publicly on their
actions and decisions. Directed by Dror Moreh (Sharon),
the documentary The Gatekeepers offers an exclusive
account of the sum of their successes and failures. It
validates the reasons that each man individually and the six
as a group came to reconsider their hard-line positions and
advocate a conciliatory approach toward their enemies based on
a two-state solution. Academy Award nominee for Best
Documentary Feature.
